Connecting PassBy Pulse to Microsoft 365 Copilot

PassBy Pulse is now available as a Microsoft 365 Copilot Connector. Once connected, you can access your trusted PassBy Pulse data and insights directly inside Microsoft 365 — without leaving the tools you already use every day.

What you can do

With the connector enabled, you can:

  • Find and reference information stored in PassBy Pulse
  • Ask questions in natural language and get grounded, source-backed responses
  • Surface relevant Pulse insights alongside your Microsoft 365 content
  • Bring Pulse data into your research, analysis, and decision-making workflows

Where you can use it

After setup, PassBy Pulse is available across Microsoft 365 Copilot experiences, including:

  • Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat
  • Researcher
  • Excel Copilot
  • Microsoft 365 Copilot app experiences

Before you begin: admin enablement may be required

If you don't see PassBy Pulse in the connector gallery, or the Connect option is greyed out, your organization's Microsoft 365 IT Administrator may need to review, approve, and enable the connector for your tenant. Please reach out to them before continuing.

Getting started: example prompts

Once connected, ask Copilot questions that blend your Microsoft 365 context with your Pulse data, such as:

  • "Show month-over-month foot traffic for our top 20 stores."
  • "Which regions are outperforming on visits this quarter?"
  • "How do our visit trends compare to [competitor] over the last six months?"
  • "Flag any stores with declining traffic for three or more consecutive months."
  • "Summarize year-over-year visit growth by state and drop it into this spreadsheet."

Troubleshooting

  • I can't find PassBy Pulse in the gallery → Your tenant admin likely needs to enable it (see Before you begin).
  • Sign-in fails → Confirm you're using your PassBy Pulse credentials, not your Microsoft login.
  • No data comes back → Make sure PassBy Pulse is selected/toggled on as a data source for that Copilot experience.
