# Location Visits Table

## Analyse and compare individual location performance using visits data.

**The Location Visits table** provides a detailed, tabular view of visits performance at the individual location level.

It is available in two places:

- **Brand Analysis ➡️ Location Visits tab**
- **Market Analysis ➡️ Location Visits tab**

In both contexts, the table shows one row per location, allowing users to compare performance, sort results, and drill into individual locations.

### Location Visits in the Brand Section

**Where:** Brand Analysis **➡️**  **Location Visits** tab

This view helps users understand how a brand’s locations are performing on visits.

- Each row represents an active location belonging to the selected brand
- Closed and inactive locations are hidden by default
- Users can enable a toggle to **Show closed and inactive locations**

##### Metrics Available

Users can control which visits-based metric is shown in the table, including:

- **Total Visits** (default)
- **Visits Growth** versus the selected comparison period
- **Percentile ranks**, such as National rank and State rank

##### Controls and Interactions

The table updates dynamically in response to changes in date range, comparison period, metric selection, and any applied benchmark or comparison.

Users can sort by any column, export the table, and bookmark the current view for reuse.

Metric definitions, ranking logic, and data freshness are explained through tooltips and badges within the table.

##### Drill-In Experience

Clicking a row opens a location drill-in, providing additional location details, deeper visits analysis, and navigation to related views.

##### Behaviour

- All interactions update the table without page reloads
- Loading states use skeleton rows
- Missing or partial data is clearly annotated
- Empty states and errors are communicated inline or via notifications

### Location Visits in the Market Section

**Where:** Market Analysis **➡️**  **Location Visits** tab

![Screenshot 2026-02-06 at 12.22.51](https://help.passby.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Screenshot%202026-02-06%20at%2012.22.51.png?width=670&height=256&name=Screenshot%202026-02-06%20at%2012.22.51.png)

This view helps users explore and compare all locations within a market.

##### Table Structure

- Each row represents a location in the selected market
- Default columns include location name, city, and a visits-based performance metric
- Closed and inactive locations are hidden by default, with a toggle to reveal them

##### ![Screenshot 2026-02-06 at 12.30.53](https://help.passby.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Screenshot%202026-02-06%20at%2012.30.53.png?width=400&height=83&name=Screenshot%202026-02-06%20at%2012.30.53.png) Search, Filters, and Navigation

The Market Location Visits table is optimised for exploration.

- Search across all locations in the market
- Sort by any column
- Apply filters based on location attributes or performance characteristics
- Navigate large result sets using pagination

##### Drill-In Experience

Clicking a row opens the same location drill-in experience used in the Brand view, allowing users to inspect location details and move into deeper analysis.

##### Behaviour

- Search, filters, and sorting update results in real time
- Loading states use skeleton rows
- No results or errors are communicated clearly within the table

#### Why This Matters

The Location Visits table makes it easy to compare locations side by side, identify top- and under-performing locations, understand how locations rank within broader geographies, and drill into locations that warrant deeper investigation.

This turns visits data into practical, location-level insight that supports operational, real estate, and strategic decisions.
