How Store Matching Improves Your Almanac Experience
Before you dive into Almanac, there's one thing that makes everything else more useful: getting your own store data matched to ours.
When to use this
Store matching is a new service we now run as part of onboarding. If you haven't gone through this yet, reach out to your PassBy contact and we'll get it set up.
How it works
When you send us your store data, we match it against our own — and that gets you three things:
- Accuracy. We confirm your store count is right: no locations showing as open that have actually closed, and none missing that should be there.
- Visibility. Your own store IDs and names — the ones your team already knows — get surfaced directly in the platform, so you can cross-reference against your first-party data without translating between two systems.
- Filtering. Whatever extra detail you send us — which locations are outlet stores, what district they're in, who manages them — becomes something you can filter and sort by right inside Almanac.
Why it matters
It's the foundation everything else is built on: accurate store counts, your own naming surfaced back to you, and your own attributes usable as filters throughout the platform.
